Last Tuesday night my hubby and I went to the East Bay Grill on the waterfront in Plymouth. YUM…. The atmosphere is very cozy, very comfortable and the waitress, Lisa Marie, was very knowledgeable about the entrees and wines.
On Monday, Tuesday, Wednesdays they have a great deal, $40.00 for 2 entrees and a bottle of wine. You can’t beat that. I am not a big wine drinker (I prefer beer, microbrew usually) but I explained what I dislike about wines and the waitress knew exactly what I should have (Jekel Chardonney). I was very skeptical, so she brought me a quite a healthy taste and it was nice, very mellow, no after burn.
I ordered the Swordfish Lilly and my hubby ordered the Pork Medallions… My swordfish was perfectly prepared in a lemon caper sauce served with sticky rice that was to die for and roasted veggies…delish….Bob’s a big eater and he was very happy with the size of his portion. The medallions had a tasty mango/onion marmalade sauce over the top, served with broccoli and red bliss potatoes with a spice that had him making funny noises. He thoroughly enjoyed every bite. By the end of the meal neither one of us could fit dessert. I can only imagine how good the desserts are, based on the meal we just had. Maybe next time I can try Pumpkin Crème Brulee, doesn’t that sound yummy? We will be sure to visit East Bay Grille again, next time we will take some friends.
